Overview
The power dialer brings phone-call tasks into a queue and calls one person at a time. Review each person’s details and task notes, make the call, and log its outcome before moving on. Automatic dialing can start the next call after a preview period, giving you time to prepare between conversations. Before starting, set up the dialer and check that you have an assigned number and microphone access. A workspace administrator must activate the dialer before reps can use it.Prepare a calling session
1
Choose your tasks
Open Tasks and filter the
list to the work you want to do. Click Power dial to build a queue from
the matching phone-call tasks. To work through a smaller group, select
those tasks first and use the power-dial action for the selection. If Unify offers to enrich missing phone numbers, review the number of
people and credit cost before proceeding. You can skip enrichment and
continue with the available numbers.
2
Review the queue
The session opens with the first person ready for preview. Review the
person’s details, task notes, and recent activity. The queue on the left
shows the people in your session.
3
Choose how calls start
Open Settings to review automatic dialing, preview time, and the number
of phone numbers to try for each person. Changes save as you make them. With Start calls automatically on, the dialer calls when the preview
countdown ends. Turn it off if you want to start each call yourself.
4
Start the session
Click Start. If automatic dialing is off, click Call when you are
ready. Review any calling warnings before proceeding.During a call, use the controls to manage audio, open the keypad, or end
the call. See Making calls
for individual call controls and recording.
Set the pace
Use the session settings to control how much time you have between calls and which numbers the dialer tries.
Pause the countdown when you need more time to prepare. You can also skip a
person to move to the next entry. Skipping someone in the calling queue leaves
their task open.
